I just got the book and as I was looking specifically for Weight Watcher’s Crock Pot recipes I opened several tabs at once to see which I liked the best. I thought about getting the actual WW one pot book, but I wanted something with a lot of crock pot recipes. I bought the one that doesn’t have any reviews yet because I didn’t realize it was the same one as the one with 2 1/2 stars reviews I specifically didn’t look at because the reviews were so low.

I’m giving this one star because they shouldn’t publish it under 2 titles to help people find it, that’s what key words are for. Do you see anyone else publishing a book under two titles?

I did not look closely at this book, unfortunately. There is no nutritional information. What happens when WW changes their plan, like they just did? Also, after every recipe it reads: “Makes Six 6 Weight Watchers Points Plus Servings.” Or how ever many servings/points a recipe is. This is clearly not a real Weight Watcher book as I can’t imagine them labeling anything in such an unclear way. I had to read it several times to realize the points and the serving sizes were both in that sentence. Weight Watchers always adds the nutritional info as well.

I may edit my review later after I make some recipes, but for lack of clarity and title switching alone it gets one star. I wish I would have paid a little more for the real WW book. If I’d known this wasn’t an actual WW book I wouldn’t have bought it. Even if it is an affiliation I would have at least looked much more carefully at it before just buying. Since I love Weight Watchers and trust their brand and I thought that’s what I was getting I didn’t bother.

Is this book the same as the one for crock pot? The index is the same except substituting slow cooker for crock pot. Isn’t it cheating if the reader bought both assuming they were different? Why would Weight Watcher do such a thing?

Yes! The Weight Watcher Diva Books are titled Slow Cooker and Crock Pot which are the same books as noted in the description. This isn’t meant as a misrepresentation, simply named differently to help Weight Watchers find the books in Amazon! These are really wonderful books!
